System Upgrade Information

Important Update

The Atlantic Federal Credit Union is upgrading to a new system designed to strengthen our cyber resilience and support the future deployment of new products and services.

The system upgrade will occur on October 1, 2025. Please see below details regarding your banking experience during this transition period.

Account Information

  • Your Member Number will remain the same through this upgrade.
  • Your existing Online Banking Username and Password will remain the same.
  • There will be no change to our routing number.
  • There will be no change to your debit and credit card numbers.
  • Prime Share account Suffixes will change from 00 to 01. Business Prime Shares will become 04. If you have other accounts with Suffix changes, you will be notified by mail.
  • Loan and Certificate Suffixes will not change.

    Services

    • All electronic debits and credits, such as direct deposits and automatic bill payments, will continue to process with no action required.
    • Card services will continue without interruption.
    • Online Banking access, account history, and related enrollments will not change. Please note historical check images will no longer be available as of September 30 and will begin to archive moving forward on October 2. Prior to September 30, please save any historical check images you wish to continue to access in the future.
    • Online Banking will be temporarily unavailable starting Tuesday, September 30. Access will be restored Thursday, October 2, 2025.
    • Telephone banking will temporarily be unavailable starting Monday, September 29.

    Hours

    • The Atlantic will be closed on Wednesday, October 1, while the upgrade is completed.
    • Normal business hours will resume on Thursday, October 2.

    Who is Eligible for Membership?

    Membership is available to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or regularly does business in Union or Essex counties in New Jersey. Businesses and legal entities in Essex or Union counties are also eligible.

    Immediate family members of existing members, including your spouse, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, stepchildren, stepparents, stepsiblings and adopted children, are also eligible for Membership. Non-related individuals living in the same household can also qualify.
